MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR, we love you :)

We know this comes a few days late but ...MERRY CHRISTMAS Everyone!!!!
We Hope you all had a good one with lots of presents and food haha

On a side note, we are very sorry for the lack of updates on our beloved blog.

I (Connie) have been busy re-decorating my bedroom, and as I am currently on Holidays from work, do not want to go near a computer for too long.

Nelly has been very busy too, what with working like everyday, and just hasnt had the time to come on and show you guys some love.

For the New Year break we will not be updating for a few more weeks, as we are going to a friends holiday home to ring in 2010, and then after that we are going on a small road trip to Torquay and Lorne, etc. I will then be going to my uncles beach house with my family for another week, perhaps Nelly will find the time to blog then. And then pretty much as soon as i gte back i will go back to work, and Nelly is going for two weeks to USA, and so she will blog from there and I from here!

Ok that's enough excuses. We wish you a happy and safe New Year, and that 2010 is not only a good year, but the best for all of you!

That Never Happened Before..

Hello there,
In the past few days since our last Blog few things happened,
We both had our Work Christmas Parties, went to clubs where coincdently footy players were too.
Connie finished working for the year and is now FINALLY on Holidays!!
..while Nelly has been working every single day!!Of course it had to happen like that, while Nelly was on holidays and never had anything to do during the week, connie had to work..but of course..life thinks it's funny sometimes.

Last Friday Nelly worked til 9.30pm  booo but that didn't stop us from doing something, even if it wasn't a huge night..it was still pretty ..well..i guess it was pretty long.
We only really stayed local which was at a mates place for 'few' drinks, but we got a little bored so we thought..HEY!LETS WALK TO MACCAS! which is 1.5km (roughly 20minute) walk, mind you it was way past midnight obviously dark, cold and the sky was filled with random massive BATS!!

so that was our weekend so far .

There's always time for a good friend!..and some Friendship tips =]

Hello there!
So lately Connie and myself have found it hard to catch up because we have been very busy, and we don't exactly live close.
So today I went to the city just to catch up with my Girl on her lunch break =D

You know after finishing High school you really see who your TRUE friends are, and who the friends are that you can live without even if it can sometimes be a little hard because you miss them.
But I guess "the show must go on no matter what", and that's life.
I say this all the time but it's because it's true that life is too short to worry about things that won't matter to you in a year.
Or also my other favorite 'Life is too short to be serious' :p

Anyways! As I was saying, after High school or even later in life, if someone TRULY cares about you then they can always find a little spot in their busy life for you. Without the stupid excuses or never even bother to return a call or message.

And that's why our Friendship just keeps growing stronger, because we really care about each other.
OH!One Important thing that you should definitely do in a friendship or even Relationship is Honesty!

The amount of times Connie or myself have felt left out or as if for example Connie was mad at me, I would leave it for days and that in my head would get worst. So as soon as you see a problem rising you should attack it before it turns into something bigger.
So us two have now learned from past silly experiences that as soon as we think something bad, no matter how silly we may think it is you should tell ASAP.

So Connie and I had some lunch and chatted (while judging peoples outfits that were walking by haha)
it was good fun!After I was lucky to see who this cute guy at her work was that she has been talking about.He really is cute! Naww

After I made my way back home, but as always I find it hard not to go into at least one shop in the city. Especially because it has so many nice and random little shops, like this one i went to today. I still have no clue what it was called because it didn't have a name but all that matters is that I found a Cute Shirt which I can wear for work!
It's from MINKPINK and I got it for only $5!! I was so shocked haha.

The little white dots are actually cute little stars.

It also has these two strings which you can tie up in a bow!

So Adorable!

Gossip Girl, Eden and Anglers

Hello our loves!!

How are you guys? What did you get up to this weekend?

We had a good weekend overall... but Sunday was the night that made it!

on Friday we decided not to do anything because Nelly was working so I (Connie) stayed home and literally slept from 6pm to 9:30 am. While Nelly went to a drink up with her cousins after work, where she had fun and drunk messaged me! LOL.
Nelly: sorry about that, I didn't realize i was drunk messaging you.I thought i was totally sober haha.


Anyways that brings us to Saturday night. We decided that if we were going to go out on the Sunday night that we should just watch some Gossip Girl season 2 and not go out. But of course after watching some bloopers and half of the first episode we decided to have a look at what Eden is like as a club since it's taken over One Bar.
Boy let us tell you. If ever you want to go out in Essendon on Mount Alexander Road I wouldn't really suggest Eden, which is basically dead til 12:30 and even then... its only the newly turned 18 year olds who go! So I think that I will not be spending another Saturday night at Eden unless I am forced!
 All we really did there was....we sat down..we talked,ran out of topics to talk about..and not much really!we were having way more fun at home watching Gossip Girl!!!

Ok so now onto Sunday. Though the rest of the weekend was a bit of a bore (for me more than Nelly) Sunday was a ball of fun =)

Warning: Nelly is one of the most distracting passengers ever in a car,

so think about it twice before you let her sit next to you while you drive.

We had a friends birthday at Anglers Tavern in Maribyrnong. Which is like the hottest ticket in Melbourne on a Sunday night... especially since nowhere else is really open!

Anyway, we got there about 6:30 - which is the best time to go!- and sat with the birthday girl and friends til we were in the mood to dance.

Anywhoo, as for what we got up to, nothing much really we had some coca cola to keep refreshed. But mostly we just danced all night long... which is our favorite pass time.

But the music was awesome and there were some cuuuute boys to look at so we did in fact enjoy ourselves!

And did we mention how awesome our friends are. So much fun to dance with them, and to yell at people who were in our way whilst dancing! GOOD TIMES :)

Gossip Girl Clothes :)

Hello my loves!!

So as you all should know by now, I am absolutely in love with Gossip Girl, the books and most especially the show. So, it should come as no surprise to you that when I found out the Gossip Girl clothing range was coming to Big W I went out and pretty much bought everything that was left in the store LOL.

Here is what i bought:

This belt. I really love it! Its adorable!

This headband is soooo cute too! And of course I had to get the headband as it is the only one!

I also got these bracelets. I adore the set with all the pearls. Again I love it because it is so Blair :), and the I totally could not resist that bw clasp one, it is so cute!

Ok so now for the shoes. There was a range of heels and this one pair of sandals, and I went with the sandals because I already have to many pairs of heels... according to my mum.... anyways, they remind me more of Serena than my idol Blair... but they are perfect for the coming summer and to wear with maxi's which i will definitely be doing this summer :)

 

And finally, here are the clothes that I purchased.

I absolutely am in love with this cute as a button bubble skirt! (which I would say is Blair)

For something a little more casual, i went with this more Serena style top, with vest. It is a good investment i think. I wore it to my brothers birthday on Thursday night, and it was complimented on many times during the night!

And dresses wise i got two, one casual. Which is similar to one I already have and shown you, but which i totally could not resist! I have a thing with things that are cute :) and i love the bow on this dress, sorry you cant see it from here!

And this slightly more formal dress which I plan on wearing to my work Christmas party on Friday with the above belt and some nice shoes, i bought this dress.

And that is all there was left by the time I managed to get to Big W to buy these! But I do happen to know that these are the things that i would a\have loved the most! Even my sisters said so!

Bargain of the day!

This morning after my Cheerleading training I went to the doctors and got my results back, I had to wait so long which made it even worst. I was kinda scared because really you can never know these days, after nearly one hr i got called and luckly it's all good apart from iron, so i made myself some nice beef burgers for lunch =D

On my way home I thought id go past the chemist and see if they have my favourite parfume on sale (which usually is about $80 for the 50 ml bottle)
But when i saw the 100ml bottle for $50!!!!!! i was like WOOOW i just had to get it!!
the original price of that bottle is $185 so i'm feeling very good about my bargain =]

Boyfriends or Mum & Dad, this is definitely what you should get your Girls for Christmas!

A Not So Average Day

Monday: a day everyone usually hates because it's the first day back to reality after a beautiful weekend.

For once it was OK, I was looking forward to getting up early because I had training for Cheerleading =]
Like usual I was late and didn't have time to have breakfast because I didn't want to miss my train, when I arrived at the station my train was running late 10minutes!!
I could have had a decent breakfast in those 10 minutes!!!..anyway, jumped on my train which was packed as!
And you know when it's so packed that you're in everyone's face and you have Noooo clue where to look because all you see is faces and you don't want them to think your staring at their face!...well that's what happened to me.

obviously something was wrong with the trains that morning because my train had to stop on a bridge for quiet a while. ( which got me paranoid a little )
so out of no where this Psycho lady comes and squeezes her way right in front of me (on her way to me she stomped her foot on my toes OUCH!!)

So I had this crazy lady in front of me reading a book...I thought nothing so I just daydreamed about some random stuff..
 ...ALL OF A SUDDEN this Lady starts yelling!!! "F**K YOU ALL!! I'M GONNA SET MOUSE TRAPS FOR ALL OF YOU!!!!" this yelling went for about 5whole minutes which is a long time of yelling!
O.K so OH my gosh!! I had her right in my face..I had nowhere to go!and I didn't know if i should laugh or fear for my safety.
She kinda reminded me a lot of her

haha! The Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons
anyway a while later she started talking to "her children". obviously there were no kids around her, but in her mind she was surrounded by them and kept telling them off..and laughing with them....and talking about good times.
kinda creeped me out.It just makes you think of what people must have gone through to get to that point.

So finally we arrived at my stop where she got off too, but she luckily went the opposite direction and I went my own way.

After Training (which I'm so sore now,the day after)
I made my way to the doctors which is on my way home. As usual you have to wait for ages at the doctors when you don't have an appointment but Lucky they have a TV in their waiting room so I watched The Ellen DeGeneres show and The View which was hilarious.Then this cute guy walked in,and he became the entertainment haha,
until they called my name :(
so i went to this other room where a very funny and nice nurse was taking Blood samples off me, and she started asking some questions.We somehow got to the topic about the monthly Cycle, about some issues to it etc.
When I was done i noticed that we didn't lock the door and that outside the room where there was an other little waiting area where no one usually sits...well guess who was there turned with his body in the direction of my room listening the entire time? Mr. Cute-waiting-room-boy!!!and also this other random lady was listening too.When I opened the door they both jumped and pretended they were reading haha I so busted them.
it was very embarrassing thou!
After getting my blood taken I went to get a vaccine for the Swine Flu which omg hurt so much!
so now I have these two band aids on my left arm and i look like a druggie haha.

Hello again ...

I just couldnt stay away :)

so on Sunday I went shopping with my sister Dona and I though I might share with you what i bought!

First u got this very plain Jersey dress... but is gonna get a lot of use from me.

Then I went and got these Pyjamas... cos i have an obssession with Paul Frank/ Julius and Friends and i always have to buy something when I go shopping! LOL.

And my last purshase of the day were these totally cute flats, which I desperately needed for work!

While I was taking photos of my stuff I thought I would show you my favourite shoes (that i was talking about in my last post). They are so comfy and adorable, don't you think?

(oh BTW, sorry the photos are all over the place, my comp wont let me do it the way I want to)

Philip Island Adventure!

Hello my people! :)

So as Nelly mentioned in our last post, i went to Phillip Island on Saturday!

I had never been before so i didnt really know what to expect from it. But it wasn't bad. I mean, it wasn't the best place I have ever visited, BUT I still managed to have fun so that makes thing better :)

I got up at 8am to get ready for the two hour drive ahead of us. Wasn't sure what i should have worn, so i went with my fav comfy jeans, my Bon Jovi tour tee and my fav grey cardie, with my FAVOURITE sportsgirl Floral shoes (which were not so good when it started raining, especially since we were at the beach)

Anyways, we got to my uncles house at about 9 and I rode in his car with my brother and Aunty, while my sisters were with my Mum and Dad in his car. I was bored so i read Gossip Girl most of the way, and listened to my Ipod the rest.

After about an hour and a half driving we finally reached some of the Bass Coast... where i took these photos... excuse the quality it was on my phone and in a moving vehicle!

And here is the bridge that connects Philip Island to the rest of Victoria.

We arrived at our destination at about 11:30, and i had to use the facilities... I wanted to cry at the state in which said facilities were kept... the toilets didnt even have locks... my Mum had to keep my door closed, it was so wrong!

After our quick toilet run, we decided to take in some shopping. I should have known that in a small town like that one... there wouldnt be that much to look at. Though i did find one treasure of a shop. everything in it reminded me of me... and ever since I left i havent been able to get my dream bed/ bedroom out of my head! When i paint my room, i am so upgrading my whole room!

Then came LUNCH! Being Wogs we made lunch at home and hate our Rolls with deli at the beach!
I was pretty hilarious!! BUT GOOD! yummy!

After lunch came the fun bit! We went to this awesome place called A'Maze'n' Things (which mean two things -Amazing things, cos its pretty amazing puzzles and stuff, - and A maze and things, cos the main attraction is the HUGE maze, where we got so lost!!)
This place was really cool. I mean, it is meant for kids, but I really enjoyed myself too!
The first room we walked into was this room where the floor was uneven but all the furniture and stuff was even.... this gave me such a headache. I love this photo of my sister Alba on the ladder and me holding her up!  But the whole room loses that special touch in photos!

After that came the small room, that had some small mind games to play... BUT had this room that was like that room in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... it start BIG... and then you are small... here is the awesome photo we took... where the smallest person is the biggest hahahaha... my mum loved it!

Then came the a really dark hallway with all the stars... it was nice. Which was followed my a maze of mirrors.. Which had me knocking into myself many times. I loved it here...

Some more mind tricks were played on you, and then we reached this Huge room filled with more fun things.

BUT its biggest attraction was this HUGE SLIDE that i nearly did, and then after i watched my sister do it i was like THERE IS NO WAY I CAN DO IT! I'm afraid of heights and so i was having an anxiety attack just at the thought! Though I did have fun getting the jumpsuit on!! LOL.

And the last attraction was the MAZE! We found the first flag so easy, so we thought oh this is gonna be soooo easy! BUT IT WASNT!
we got so lost we ended up cheating...I stood on the stairs and told my sister which way to go... and we did it :) LOL.
Overall I think that was the most fun thing we did! haha.
During the Maze thing, it was sooo hot. the sun was beating down our backs and we were running around, and so it led us to the Gelateria. Where I had the HUGEST ever one scoop of cookies and cream gelati :) Rrefreshing...

When it started to rain we decided to go for a drive to try and find where the Penguin Parade was... so that later that night we wouldnt have to look. But it started like pouring down, so we decided we would eat dinner after not before, so we stayed inside and waited for the thing to begin. Whilst inside we took this picture, and had a tour of a day in the life of a penguin where we found out they are LOUD LOVERS... and I was lilke ewwwwww :S

it was still raining so we bought those garbage bag Ponchos and they were nice in the cold... protected us from the rain and the wind!
We waited like 2 hours for the penguins to come out, and after we saw like 50 come out we decided to go and see them find their homes instead so we walked along and we saw like thousands of them... and then this weird sound was coming from the darkness and Im pretty sure they were mating! And i wanted to cry!
The shittest thing about the penguin parade was that there were too many people ... and you werent aloud to take photos... which like totally sucked!

While waiting for the penguins we didnt really have much to do... so we were observing the other humans... and OMG some people are so DUMB!
This one guy didnt want to sit in the wet sand, so he was squating, and he must have gotten tired of squatting cos then all of a sudden her grabbed his bottle of water and put the top end deep enough in the sand so that it was stable and then he sat on the upstanding bottle.... I swear this really happened! i just couldnt believe that someone was that stupid! I couldnt stop laughing.. I mean like REALLY? lol.

We never ended up getting that food, cos we left the penguin place at 10, so we went straight home. In the car i was sleeping on my sister Alba, who was sleeping on n my sister Dona., who was sleeping on the door... so funny! needless to say, the ride home was a lot quicker then the ride there!

And that was my Phillip Island Adventure! :)

Last week of November!

And an other week is gone, and we're closer to Christmas!!!!
anyone done their xmas shopping yet?I haven't even started!!!...oh oh  :S

The past week Connie and myself (Nelly) have managed to catch up more than the usual, which never happens during the week.

while I was in the city for a Job interview (for a job i got!! YAY ) we went for lunch at this Funky place on Swanston Street called "The Lounge" which I totally recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne or just walking past it. Instead of always going to Maccas!

(which is exactly what we did the day before for lunch haha)

Us being so immature, of course found it hilarious that our order number was '69'

There's nothing better than two fresh glasses of coke on a humid day in Melb =]

For lunch we just had something small simple but delicious!
it had the best Sour Cream sauce ever! But as you can see the sweet chilli sauce was not touched because we're sooks haha.


Because Connie went to Phillip island with her family all day Saturday, we thought we would top it up Friday Night by going for a walk at South Bank which was soooo beautiful. 


The weather was perfect, it was windy but not cold...just that lovely breeze like on a summer night.
so we thought "hey let's wear dresses!!!!"
just as we finished sipping on our Milkshakes it started pouring down!!!!!!!

..damn I was about to upload a picture of Connie and me but Connies face is blurry so it looks creepy.

TIP:make sure no1 moves while taking a picture in the dark without the flash on.

Dona's Birthday: Saturday

Firstly we should say HELLO!

As i said yesterday, last night was Dona's 18th Birthday Bash.

How cute is the cake?

Being a big Italian Family, a small get together meant 50 people over.
Meaning there was a lot of noise, and a shit load of food YAY!

The food was A-MAZ-ING! :)

OMG... one of the best parts was the PINATA... which we thought would break so easy.... but took like 10 people, til a grown man did it for us LOL.

Music was AWESOME... cos we were the DJs :)
We danced all night loooong! woooooo!

My cousins gorgeous daughter was eating watermelon, but she kept dropping it as she waddled along... so she ended up having like 6 pieces.

The night went well, we had some good LOL moments!

But a huge highlight was when we got on the air matress in the loungeroom and watched Gossip Girl to go to sleep. And Literally 5 minutes later all the youngins all fell asleep and there was only Nelly and me left.
eventually we decided to go to sleep... as Connie slept she made a LOUD groan sound and woke herself up IT WAS HILARIOUS... cos she scared herself!! Too Funny
AND then there was when Nelly fell off the Matress! hahaha!
and Just as Connie woke up to leave and sleep in her own room, and woke Nelly up too, one of the other girls said in her sleep "ok, im coming too" and Connie was like WTF? did she just talk in her sleep?
and she did! we confirmed it this morning!

so thats all for the night... we think!
