Rick's Birthday

So on Saturday night, or friend Rick (Huseyin really, but Rock since school) had his 20th birthday at Crown Casino... but the Pub in there.

We headed down on the Train (it's wayy cheaper!) and then caught a taxi to Crown (was too cold to walk).

Crown Pub is one of our favourite places, mostly cos they play awesome R&B music. The only problem with the place is that it is a teeny tiny area with like hundreds of people in there! you have to room, and all you want to do is dance.

Anyways, we caught up with a few of our friends. We had a little to drink, and the night was mostly good. You know there are times in the night when you wish there was more room, and then you stop enjoying the night.

But other than that it was a slow one for Nelly and I.

At the end of the night, we ended up at the Bar downstairs where our friends Leigh and Bobby were just sitting and drinking. So we grabbed another drink and danced to some of the old school music. Despite being the only ones to dance in the whole place it was a lot of fun :)

So that about tops the outtings for this past weekend.

And it wouldnt be a normal post without some photos of the night, so here you guys go!!

THIS MONTHS OBSESSION IS...

KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS :)

I absolutely freakin' love this show!

I used to watch it when I had Foxtel, but then we got rid of Foxtel and I sort of lost interest, etc.

Last month we got Foxtel back (YAY) and of course I was glued to E! so I could catch up on the latest season of KUWTK.

I just think these ladies are so great! All of them!!

You know i think they all get a lot of slack from the Media, but I just think we should all be as smart and independant as these women.

They don't give a crap what people think about them, and that is truely inspiring.

I mean sure, sometimes they do things that aren't entirely lady like, but the fact that they show that on TV is so great.

They can show a whole generation of girls that being rich and famous isn't always what they think it is.

But they also show Success can come along at any given moment.

And most importantly they show that Family is what really matters.

Sure they fight, and there are certain family members (more extended than anything) that can make my want to hit them, but at the end of the day what they're show is about is Family Support.

with Support you can achieve anything, and they have the strongest support their Family.

And you know what else I love about this show - that they remind me so much of my family.

As you know I have two sisters, and a brother. And our age gaps are VERY similar to those of the Kardashians.

Of course, we dont have two younger sisters as well, but you know this is fairly close.

The first time I watched this show was with my sisters, and we straight away saw the resemblance between the two families.

For example, I am the oldest - and of the siblings I relate to Kourtney the most. I am bossy, and like to be in control of every situation. But at the same time I am the one who wants to have fun all the time.

Dona - The Middle child- considers herself as Kim. She is very self absorbed (No offence to anyone, it is in a good way), she does the least work, but expects the most attention. And she is smart when it comes to the work she has to do. She knows what she wants and she goes for it no matter what. That is her best quality.

Alba - the youngest girl. The most similar pair are Alba and Khloe. I mean if you put them in the same room I think they would be like identical. Despite being a few years apart. Alba is by far the funniest of the sisters. She is someone who gets by on her humour. She is also the tallest of the three, and freakishly strong for a girl. When I watch Khloe I am always thinking of Alba, they are just so similar! you wouldnt believe me!

And finally my little brother Nino - he is definitely the Rob of the family. He is heavily influenced by others, and gets crushes easily. He is a good looking little bugger, and so very annoying. But he is the most lovable.

If you havent watched it yet, what are you waiting for... you can catch up on last season while it's still playing on E!.

I just think this show is truely amazing and I can't wait til' Season 5 starts.

Until then I will have Kourtney and Khloe take Miami to keep me entertained :)

P.S did i mention that my sister Dona saw Kim K at the Optus store in Bourke Street Melbourne. AND despite knowing i work around the corner didn't bother to tell me to go have a look until 40 minutes after she had left. Thanks again Dona! :P

WE'RE SORRY FOR THE NEGLECT

Hey Hey

We're really sorry for the neglect to the blog lately.

When we started this we thought it would be so easy, but coming up with things people actually want to hear about is not only difficult but also time consuming.

At present, both of us do not have the time to post.

We both have full time jobs, which includes early mornings, long days and a lack of sleep.

As such we often just say "I will post something later" then when later comes we find another reason not to post.

This does not in any way mean we plan on quitting on the blog, it just means we plan on only posting a few things.

And hopefully one day we will get our act together and show this page the love and affection it deserves!

I know this sounds like a bunch of excuses, but we thought we would at least let you know why we only occasionally post.

Thanks for listening (i mean reading :S) to this tiny vent, i promise to make these few and far between.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NELLY!

This post comes about one month too late, but since both Nelly and I have been busy we should just pretend it's right on time!

So last month, on Friday 23rd was Nelly's 20th birthday (I know what an old cow, hahaha).

Being a wog she had to do a family thing on Friday so we all went to be there with her, and to have a bit to drink. And the celebration was just right for Nelly.

we all had a lot of fun, and we did something we dont usually do!

NOW I will talk about the REAL party!

The real party was on Sunday night! (Monday was ANZAC Day, so it was a public holiday). We went to three clubs and finished the night at the casino.

We started the night at 6, at Anglers in Maribyrnong.

This is like the best place on a Sunday night (the only thing that sucked this particular night was that it finished at 10pm). Anglers has the best music, and is always packed which is both a good and a bad thing!

After Anglers we headed to STARBAR. This was my first time at Star, but Nelly had been there before and told some of her friends to meet there!

That was a good place too. Though i wasnt a huge fan of the music, the boys were ok. LOL.

After STAR, we ended the club run with Plastic, which is where our friends were going to meet up with us, since we already had seen them at Anglers.

Plastic is not the kind of place you would imagine Nelly and me to go to. It's all dark and the music downstairs is completely SCREAMO! however, upstairs plays our kind of music. We only really go because our friends want to go.

So we were getting tired and we left Plastic aroung 2:30am, and we walked down to the Kebab place down the street. Where we had the most delicious Kebabs in Melbourne. Then we had to walk our friend "RICK" to Crown Casino because that's where our other friends were who were driving him home.

we got there at about 3:30 and waited for our friend Luke to finish his poker game. We ended up waiting there til about 5 in the morning.

Not bringing Cardigans on the coldest night so far this year was a huge mistake for Nelly, Caetlyn and me. As soon as we walked outside to grab a taxi all three of us were frozen. I honestly thought I was going to die from the cold. But we survived and managed to grab a taxi... with the most awesome Taxi driver in the world.

He was so gangsta (which isnt seen very often in Melbourne). He was pumping the music, and dancing. Though we did get a bit scared when he touched Nelly. We were like :O. however we got home safely at 5:30am and looked at the photos of the night and went to sleep at about 6am.

AND LOL, the highlight of that morning/night was when we were getting to sleep, Nelly said Goodnight, and literally five minutes later Caetlyn finally said goodnight back. Then i was already Asleep, and in like 5 minutes of my dream i tripped on a bucket and fell, and so I did the jump on the bed thing and scared poor Caetlyn who was in the bed with me. HAHAHAHAA. it was one of those you had to be there moments, so hard to explain with only words and no actions! LOL.
